Alocasia zebrina is part of the Araceae family. They have arrow shaped leaves that are slightly concave with noticeable veins and adorn the beautiful striped petioles. A.zebrina is from South East Asia and grows in tropical rainforest. This plant makes a real architectural statement.

Secrets to success
Temperature: Warm - above 21 °C in summer and at least over 18°C in winter. Ideal temperatures are between 20°C and 30°C.
Light: No direct sunlight; bright indirect light is best.
Water: Keep com post moist at all times. Water very sparingly in winter.
Air humidity: Mist leaves very frequently or place plant on a watered pebble tray. Do not let the plant sit in water. This plant prefers higher humidity, between 60-80%
Re-potting: Re-pot in spring every year.
Propagation: Divide plants at re-potting time.
