Chlorophytum orchidastrum is part of the Asparagaceae family. This plant is found across Africa. Leaves are elongated and eliptic in shape with a wavy leaf margin, the petiole is bright orange. Maximum height is 45cm.

Chlorophytum need higher humidity to prevent leaf browning, you can increase humidity by grouping plants together, misting them, using a humidifier or place your plant on a watered pebble tray. Place it in bright indirect light, and allow the soil to dry slightly between watering to prevent root rot. Feed once a month during growing season, dilute fertiliser to half the recommended dosage.
