Chlorophytum orchidastrum is part of the Asparagaceae family. This plant is found across Africa. Leaves are elongated and eliptic in shape with a wavy leaf margin, the petiole is bright orange. Maximum height is 45cm.

Secrets to success
Temperature: Ideal temperatures 12-21°C.
Light: Bright indirect light.
Watering: Allow soil to dry slightly between watering to prevent root rot.
Air humidity: Chlorophytum need higher humidity to prevent leaf browing, you can increase humidity by grouping plants together, misting them, using a humidifier or place your plant on a watered pebble tray.
Fertilising: Feed once a month during growing season, dilute fertiliser to half the recommended dosage.
