Philodendron ‘Birkin’ is part of the Araceae family, it has oval shaped leaves which are glossy and variegated with stunning stripes. This plant is a sport of Rojo Congo and is now produced by tissue cultue.

Secrets to success
Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C. Temperatures above or below could slow down growth.
Light: Most suited to bright indirect light.
Water: Keep soil moist during spring and summer, during winter the soil should almost dry out completely between watering.
Air humidity: Although relatively tolerant of dry conditions keep humidity higher to prevent crispy edges and encourage larger growth.
Potting mix: Well draining potting mix or Aroid mix.
Feeding: Fertilise every 2-4 weeks during the growing period and every other month in winter.
These plants are toxic, keep out of reach of pets and children.
