Hey! I'm the much sought after Philodendron "Florida Ghost". They call me these because my new leaves are almost white before they mature to a lighter green. Spooky right? I have stunning mixed green foliage and I'm a slow growing Philodendron that's ideal for a spot that gets bright, in-direct light. I love to climb so give me bamboo sticks and watch my grow. I love high humidity and a fast draining soil mixture. Oh and I'm also know for my air-purifying qualities!
I'm in a 15cm pot and I'm 40cm in height from the base of my pot approx.
I like average warmth and to be watered well throughout growing season. Love humidity too so give my leaves a mist now and then thanks.
LOOKING AFTER ME
I hate direct sunlight so a shady spot would do fine for me although, I do produce more leaves in a medium light environment. Water me well and allow the top half of my soil to dry out before watering again. If my leaves go yellow, this is a sign of over-watering. If my leaves go brown, I need a shower.
LIVING WITH PETS AND CHILDREN
Myself and my other Philodendrons are considered quite toxic sorry guys. Keep me away from pets and curious children.
