Secrets to success
Temperature: Philodendrons thrive in warm temperatures, 18-23°C is ideal.
Light: Bright, indirect light is best but they're able to succeed in shadier conditions.
Water: Allow the top two inches of the soil to dry out between waterings - always check the soil before watering.
Air Humidity: Philodendron hastatum need a warm and humid environment. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves, grouping plants together or placing the plant on a tray of pebbles which are half submerged in water.
Feed: Feed Philodendrons with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser; water with fertiliser every month during the summer and every 6-8 weeks in autumn and winter.
This plant is toxic, keep out of reach of pets and children.
