Philodendron pedatum is part of the Araceae family and grows across wide range of South America. It is a hemiphyte and has multi-lobed leaves. It's best to grow this plant on a mosspole as they are avid climbers.

Secrets to success
Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C. Temperatures above or below could slow down growth.
Light: Most suited to bright indirect light.
Water: Keep soil moist during spring and summer, during winter the soil should almost dry out completely between watering.
Air humidity: Although relatively tolerant of dry conditions keep humidity higher to prevent crispy edges and encourage larger growth.
Potting mix: Well draining potting mix containing bark and perlite.
Fertilising: Feed every 2-4 weeks during the growing period and every other month in winter.
