How do you care for a Moonshine plant?

Care for a Moonshine plant by allowing the soil to dry out in between watering. Reduce watering during the winter, as the plant will take longer to dry out during this time. When watering the plant, try to keep the leaves dry. This plant doesn’t need extra humidity to thrive, but it will benefit from consistently warm conditions. Average warmth, between 15 and 23°C. Minimum 10°C for a short period.

Why are my snake plant leaves splitting?

Snake plant leaves will split if the plant is overwatered. If you overwater your snake plant, the leaves will expand too quickly and will split as a result. How do you propagate Sansevieria Moonshine?

Propagate Sansevieria Moonshine from cuttings by cutting a leaf from the mother plant with a sterilised knife or secateurs. Set the cutting aside for a few days to allow it to callous. Prepare a new pot with well-draining soil and replant the cutting in an upright position. Place in a consistently warm spot with indirect light, and water as usual.

How do you keep a Moonshine snake plant white?

Keep a Moonshine snake plant’s leaves white by keeping it in bright indirect light. If you move the plant into lower light conditions then its leaves will turn green. Once the leaves have turned green, they will not be able to turn white again and you’ll need to wait until new leaves emerge.
