Epiphylum CV. Fruhlingsgold and Rhipsalis augdoensis arrived this morning. Both in great Condition and are slowly settling down in the Conservatory/ Orchid House.

Biophilic beauty for Metrocola

PLANTS USED: Selenercerius, Platycerium, Epiphyllum, Rhipsalis.

This well-known Hardman Street bar in Liverpool had new owners and they wanted to make an instant impact. It’s a big venue, with four large rooms spread over two floors and they dreamed of it filled with foliage. The centerpiece of this installation was the glasshouse upstairs. This room in particular enabled us to use plants that we don’t often get the chance to use due to the fantastic light levels. Our only problem here was finding plants that would handle these levels of light and at Root, we LOVE this type of problem! We used a selection of tropical greenery to create this welcoming oasis and we’re excited to watch this project grow in 2022.
